Stanko Bešlić (1955) studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He has been a professional illustrator and comic artist since early 1980s. His comics of various genres have been published in magazines and newspapers such as Patak, Modra lasta, SMIB, Male novine, Mi mladi, Politikin zabavnik, Oskar, SN revija, Kvizu, Večernji list, Erotika, 24 sata. His erotic comic strips are being published in specialist publications in the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Germany and Italy. He also worked as scenographer and graphic designer. Recently he has mostly been making illustrations for children.
