Nikola Listeš

Nikola Listeš (1960) has been drawing caricatures since childhood, whereas his interest in comics began at the age of twenty two. His first comic strip was Scando. He worked for Disney publishing and during the war made the first comic strip to be dealing with the war in former Yugoslavia: Super Hrvoje, which was appearing in Nedjeljna Dalmacija. He contributes to the Croatian culture weekly Hrvatsko slovo and creates political strips Humanoidi and Dioklecijančići. He illustrated the children’s book Eko, which was published in Australia. He has won numerous international awards.
