Ahmet Muminović

Ahmet Muminović (1945) has been painting, drawing and making comic strips since childhood. He held his first solo exhibition in secondary school and had his first comic strip published in 1968 in Male novine newspaper. He is a founder of Preporod magazine. In 1972 he began working as the art and technical director of Male novine newspaper, where he stayed until 1992. He is renowned as the most prolific comic strip author and illustrator in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His works have been published in Sweden, Finland, France, Spain, Turkey and China. During the war he worked as a journalist and editor of the newspaper Ratni glas – Republika BiH, and after the war he worked as editor-in-chief and director of children and youth literature in publications Male novine and Vesele sveske.
