Boro Pavlović

Boro Pavlović (1954) graduated in 1979 from Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana with a degree in painting. He worked as a decorator in the Croatian National Theatre in Split until 1991. In addition, he drew the comics series ‘Les Chroniques du Chevalier Tarwe’ and ‘Roxalane’ for the French publisher Les Humanoïdes Associés. Pavlović settled in Oslo in 1992, where he began working for the North-European department of the publishing house Semic. He did several covers for comics like ‘Agent X-9’, ‘Modesty Blaise’, ‘James Bond’, ‘Herman Storm’ and ‘The Phantom’. He also illustrated ‘Kjempene Faller’, an adventure of ‘Pelle et Proffen’, two famous characters from Norwegian juvenile literature. In 2002, he teamed up with writer Christian Perrissin to start the series ‘El Nino’ at Les Humanoïdes Associés.
