Dušan Vukojev (1948) had his first comic strip ‘Šrafko’ published in Politikin zabavnik in 1971. He won first place at the contest for the trademark of Dnevnik’s marketing agency, thus also winning the job of a designer. Neven published his comic strips ‘Koko’, ‘Rundi’ and ‘Lijanko’. From 1979 onwards he cooperated with Dečje novine, thereby ensuring for certain episodes of his comic strip ‘Gvozden i Nebojša’ dedicated to People’s Liberation Army to be published in their edition Nikad robom. In late 1980s, he worked on the comic ‘Tarzan’ for Stripoteka. Recently he has mostly been making caricatures, whereas comics have been put on hold due to the conditions on the national market.
