Ljubomir Filipovski is the only Macedonian author to pursue comic art professionally. In the 1970s he cooperated with the IPC publishing house from London. Later he moved his focus to the Yugoslav market and created the western comic strip ‘Belle Star’ in collaboration with Les Lilley. He was also working for the magazine Nikad robom, and participated in the making of ‘Il Grande Blek’.
